21 CTIS 2009 21C TransMedia Innovation Symposium: 21CTIS2009 21세기 융합미디어 혁신심포지움 In recent decades, we have seen an explosion of creativity in new media development with every aspect of life in the 21C becoming affected. Science, technology, IT/computing, industry, environment, arts, education, healthcare are all undergoing change and transformation; the reach of global connectivity, the radical engineering of both matter and mind, and the predictive power of computational systems are the more obvious causes of these shifts. This transformative era will generate entirely new forms of behavior and communication, new media and structure and we shall need to generate a more collaborative, transdisciplinary approach to solving our problems and designing new initiatives in 21C.
