¿µ¹®³»¿ë (English Abstract) |
In this paper, the communication performance of the MCR network is compared to that of the chordal-ring network. The topology of the MCR network has been proposed for the distributed memory multiprocessor system in which interprocessor communications are performed based on a message passing. While the MCP network has the advantage of the chordal-ring, that is, a simple connection of nodes and its high expandability of nodes. For each network, we define message queues, build queuing models and simulate the message latency characteristics, the utilization of communication links and the length of the message queues according to the variation of the message generaton rate of nodes. According to results, the message delay of the MCR network is improved compared to that of the chordal-ring network. Especially, while the message processng rate is low, the message latency time of the MCR network is not increased as much as chordal-ring network. |
