최근 헬스케어에 대한 관심 증가로 개인건강기록 서비스 및 증상 진단 시스템과 같은 온라인 헬스케어 애플리케이션 사용이 확산되고 있다. 하지만 기존 개인건강기록 서비스는 사용자의 건강기록을 단순 저장 및 모니터링 하는 데만 사용범위가 제한되고 있으며, 증상 진단 시스템은 개인의 건강상태를 고려하지 않고 일반적인 증상에 따른 일반적인 질병 정보들만을 제공함으로써 낮은 정확도의 결과를 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 온톨로지 자동 구축 기술을 통해 생성된 질병-증상 온톨로지를 활용하여 개인 건강상태를 고려한 질병 정보를 제공할 수 있는 개인 맞춤형 헬스케어 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 사용자가 입력한 증상과 개인건강기록을 기반으로 질병-증상 온톨로지의 의미추론과정을 통해 관련 질병들을 식별하고 랭킹 기법을 통해 순위화된 형태로 질병 정보를 제공한다. 45개의 표준화된 임상 사례를 이용한 기존 증상 진단 시스템과의 정확도 비교 실험을 통해 본 시스템의 정확도 향상을 보인다.

(English Abstract) |
In recent years, the growing interests in healthcare has promoted the usage of online healthcare applications such as online symptom checker and personal health record (PHR) services. However, current utilization range of PHR services are limited to used for storing and monitoring user’s health records. Also, online symptom checkers show low accuracy on diagnose results because they only provide general disease information according to general symptoms without considering personal health conditions. In this paper, we propose an personalized healthcare management system that exploits disease-symptom ontology that generates by automatic ontology generation techniques. This system identifies possible disease lists by analyzing the user’s symptom-based queries and their PHR data via semantic inferencing of disease-symptom ontology, and provide a ranking lists of possible diseases to users through ranking methods. Our system improved accuracy compared to existing online symptom checkers using 45 standardized patient vignettes.
